Collette Larsen had no idea how big her USANA business would
get when she started working it 12 years ago. Today, she and her
son/business partner Zak, have set a USANA precedent never before
achieved. This week, Collette and Zak earned the title of 8-Star
Diamond Director!
8-Star Diamond Director Status did not happen by chance.
Collette explains, "I knew ahead of time that we were going to hit
this goal. Zak worked harder than I did-he worked morning unitl
night for four weeks straight. Originally, I had decided to set
our goal at 7-star, one for each of my grandchildren. As fate
would have it, my daughter-in-law announced that my eighth
grandchild was on the way, and after two incredible weeks on this
7-Star run, we decided to move it to 8 after we maxed 12 centers
in one week!"
Collette has not forgotten where she started. She remembers
all too well that she comes from a place of hardship. When she
began her USANA business, she was worried about providing her
children with the basic necessities in life. Collette, Zak, the
rest of her family, and team have certainly come a long way since
then. "I've gone from living in scarcity, wondering how I was
going to feed my kids, to wondering how I can change the world
today. I literally have the opportunity to travel the world with
the people I love and enjoy the best that this life has to offer."
Collette explains, "The relationships I've established from this
business are amazing-I'm surrounded by the most incredible people.
USANA has changed my life in every way, the way I think about the
world, the way I can serve other people, and the ways in which I
can help others achieve their dreams."
Many Associates have times of doubt, especially when they are
first starting their businesses. Collette offers this advice: "If
you shake the tree enough, the fruit will fall. Maybe it doesn't
fall from the exact tree you are shaking but if you continue to
move your business forward, even in small ways every day, then
success will come. Persistence is the key. I planted millions of
seeds before the garden started to grow. Keep talking, sharing,
and using the tools USANA gives you-your fruit will fall
too."
Congratulations Collette, Zak, and team! This well-deserved
achievement has set the precedent for the entire USANA
family!
